Nadica Ristivojevic, 59, of West Bloomfield Township, was sentenced Thursday in Oakland District Circuit Court to time served and to pay compensation to her casualties, the records said.

Reached Friday, John Freeman, Ristivojevic’s Troy-based lawyer, said his client laments her actions.
“Ms. Ristivojevic acknowledges obligation for what happened,” he said through e-mail. “She argued no challenge to three misdemeanors, made full compensation of roughly $32,000, and served 35 days in the Oakland District Imprison, which is a noteworthy sentence for somebody with no criminal history.
“She is sorry and laments what happened. Ms. Ristivojevic looks forward to putting this behind her and moving on with her life.”
Ristivojevic argued no challenge in October to a charge of burglary by change, agreeing court records. Robbery by change implies a respondent wrongfully kept cash or property given to him or her deliberately by the casualty or victims.
In trade for her supplication, prosecutors rejected numerous checks of getting $1,000 or more but less than $20,000 beneath wrong pretenses against Ristivojevic, court records said. The wrongdoing is culpable by up to five a long time in prison.
